We will admit to a sentimental attachment to to SilverWorks. The owner, Jim Connelly designed and executed a custom piece of jewelry that acted as an engagement gift for my intended, then worked with us to design and manufacture wedding rings. It's hard not to like people with the kind of talent and good taste that are so much a part of this long-time Lawrence gallery. |

Jim and his wife have excellent taste, and travel extensively to shows and studios to find the very best in silver jewelry, pottery, and specialty art items. It's difficult to leave this store; there are always several things you want to take home and so many new things to look at. The Connellys have found the very best items from across the country and brought them to Lawrence for you.

They always have beautifully constructed small wooden boxes, whimsical pieces of pottery, beautiful silver jewelry (by Jim and other artisans), classic pottery and ceramics, and many pieces of small novelty art that you won't find any place else. And, as noted earlier, if you really want something one of a kind, Jim will know how to make it or someone else that can get it done for you. |
